About Us
BSC4EVR was founded by Dr. Fredrick Douglass Dixon and Toby Thompson. The former founded the Black Studies Center at the University of Wyoming, where he later brought on Toby as the social and digital media manager. After working together in this academic setting for nearly half a decade, Dr. Fred and Toby realized their social justice efforts were severely limited by the bureaucratic systems of academia. BSC4EVR is their grassroots solution to such limitations.

BSC4EVR uses art and education as its primary tools in the fight for social justice. In addition to the messaging of the artwork itself featured throughout BSC4EVR, all proceeds go towards supporting social justice educators and artists and help fund the BSC4EVR Conference. To get an idea of what the BSC4EVR conference entails, please visit our YouTube page to view over 40 hours of social justice programming organized and hosted by our co-founders.
